Johann Marx
Johann founded Becoming Alpha and leads its vision and strategy. His background spans technology, intelligence and regulatory-risk work, entrepreneurship and venture incubation. His responsibility at Becoming Alpha is to connect the company’s purpose with the standards, decisions and evidence required to build the infrastructure.
Experience & remit+
Johann Marx is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Becoming Alpha. His career has been spent in the business of trust — building and leading enterprises where evidence, controls, and accountability determine outcomes. Over more than 25 years as a serial entrepreneur, he has founded and led companies across technology, national security, management and regulatory-risk consulting, and large-scale real estate development spanning mixed-use residential, retail, and hotel & leisure. For eighteen years he advised governments and the financial services industry on technology-driven intelligence operations, border control, anti-crime, and anti-money-laundering strategy, delivering program-scale regulatory risk and compliance solutions and implementation where controls and verification are non-negotiable. For more than two decades he has been actively engaged in the startup ecosystem and in startup incubation across markets including the United States, Singapore, Israel, Malaysia, Poland, China, and South Africa, and has contributed as a speaker, judge, and panelist at international startup events. That combination of entrepreneurial leadership, government and financial-services compliance experience, and institutional engagement is the foundation from which he leads Becoming Alpha.

Her responsibility is to coordinate the work across domains, manage dependencies and carry the interim risk and compliance function within the documented operating model.
Experience & remit+
Sulize co-founded Becoming Alpha and serves as Chief Operating Officer, owning operations, delivery, and the program office. She brings more than 20 years across legacy capital markets and large-scale blockchain operations, with experience building resilient organisations, executing large-scale technology programs, and aligning strategic delivery with measurable institutional outcomes. Her work spans strategy, global regulatory compliance, and technology in support of institutional adoption of digital market infrastructure. She began her blockchain leadership as Program Director at Securrency, and later as Director of Technology Delivery and Chief of Staff at DTCC Digital Assets, where more than 300 blockchain engineers reported to her on large-scale development projects. In that role she managed delivery of platforms for tokenization, collateral management, and digital asset infrastructure under disciplined compliance and operational frameworks. Academically, Sulize holds three Master’s degrees, an MBA, an LLM, and two PhDs — one in Digitisation and another in Blockchain Adoption. She is currently pursuing a third doctorate, an LLD on ISDA trading contracts executed through blockchain and AI in supply chains.

His responsibility is to translate product requirements into an architecture and engineering process that support traceable evidence, controlled access and reviewable changes.
Experience & remit+
Jeremy co-founded Becoming Alpha and serves as Chief Technology Officer, accountable for technology, security, and AI delivery. A full-stack and cloud engineer with over 15 years of experience in Web3, blockchain, and smart-contract development, he has designed and deployed production systems that handle sensitive data, digital assets, and high-value transaction flows, with a consistent focus on security, reliability, and auditability. His work spans secure backend services, smart-contract driven applications, and cloud infrastructure, bringing together modern engineering practices with a security-focused mindset. He has hands-on experience across Node.js and TypeScript ecosystems, major cloud and container platforms, and a wide range of relational and nonrelational databases — allowing him to design architectures that are both scalable and defensible. Throughout his career, Jeremy has been the technical counterpart to founders and operators who need production systems they can trust. He is known for translating complex requirements into clear architectures, enforcing secure development and deployment practices, and building the tooling and observability that make blockchain platforms easier to monitor, test, and govern over time.

Yotam leads community and activation. His background spans technology entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, data science and platform development. His responsibility is to shape participation around defined contributions, program rules and evidence of work, connecting community activity with the platform’s operating model.
Experience & remit+
Yotam Soen is Co-Founder and Chief Community Officer of Becoming Alpha, accountable for community and activation. He is a technology founder specializing in artificial intelligence, data science, and the design of scalable platform systems — work that has included applications in health and wellness among other domains. Across companies he has founded, he has led complex technology infrastructures and MVPs from architecture through delivery, working closely with experienced technical and operating professionals to take AI-powered systems from concept into production. His expertise also extends to strategic partnerships in technology: identifying collaboration opportunities that are operationally meaningful, and negotiating the terms and structures that allow those partnerships to move from intent into delivery. That combination — technical depth, founder execution, and partnership judgment — shapes how he approaches community systems where participation, trust, and measurable activation must hold together. Earlier in his career, Yotam served as Software Development Officer (a position title) in the Israel Defense Forces’ elite weapons development unit, “Yiftah”, where he advanced image processing capabilities using convolutional neural networks for battlefield applications. At Becoming Alpha, he brings that same builder’s discipline to community and activation — designing the structures through which participants engage, contribute, and remain accountable inside the platform’s operating model.
